As an important component of Great Wall Motors' technology research and development system, the research and development business of Great Wall Motors Tianjin R&D Center covers intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving, cloud platform and other fields, possessing the full stack research and development capability of automotive intelligence from product design to project management. The center has a complete software development system and toolchain, stability laboratory, cloud testing platform and other infrastructure. In addition to undertaking the research and development of Great Wall's global mass-produced vehicle projects, it also conducts software technology research and product function development work around intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving, involving operating systems, software ecology, AI technology, etc. In terms of cloud platform, the center will mainly be responsible for the research and development of overseas vehicle networking backend systems, providing technical support for vehicle networking businesses in multiple overseas countries and regions.
Next, the Tianjin R&D Center of Great Wall Motors will leverage the advantages of the regional high-end intelligent manufacturing industry cluster, with AI defined automobiles as the core strategy, focusing on the deep integration of intelligent products and technological innovation, and continuously attracting regional high-end talents. The expected size of R&D personnel will reach 250 to 300, becoming an important support for Great Wall Motors' R&D system.
